FCS Facility Services is Hiring a Janitorial Supervisor Near Castle, DE
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Commercial janitorial and facilities maintenance company seeking full time Janitorial Supervisors for Central Florida location.
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services.
- Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
- Records personnel data on specified forms.
- Trains workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
- Issues janitorial supplies and equipment to workers to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
- Supervise employees and help delegate operations schedule to ensure proper work area coverage.
- On the job training for staff/employees to job specific tasks.
- *above list of responsibilities are inclusive but not limited to all possible future duties.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred, but not required).
- Prior janitorial experience a must.
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Service focused with sense of urgency.
- Empty waste baskets and replace liners.
- Dust/clean tops of office furniture, table tops, chairs, blinds, etc.
- Vacuum all carpeting & spot clean as needed.
- General restroom cleaning including toilets, urinals, floors, and sinks.
- Clean all glass windows within reach.
- Sweep and mop tiled areas.
- Spot-clean walls, partitions, and doors.
- Refill all restroom dispensers as needed.
- Maintain janitor’s closet neat and orderly.
- Maintain and clean equipment (such as vacuums) at all times.
- Must have good listening and communication skills. Some positions require the ability to speak English.
- Must maintain a clean/ neat appearance.
- Must be able to lift, pull and push approximately 50 pounds.
- Repetitive motion daily includes, but is not limited to: bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting.
- Weekend availability required for day shift.
